Weather Near Waipiʻo

The Hāmākua Coast is beautifully green for a reason. Passing showers are a natural part of the experience, and a little rain does not automatically mean your tour will be canceled.

Tours Continue in Light Rain

Tours generally continue during light to moderate rain. Covered gathering areas and umbrellas are available for guests.

Changing Island Weather

Conditions near Kukuihaele and the top of Waipiʻo can change quickly. Closed toe shoes and a lightweight rain jacket are recommended.

Severe Weather

Tours may be canceled for severe rain, strong winds, lightning, flooding or unsafe apiary conditions. Guests may reschedule or receive a full refund when we cancel.
